With New Transfer Partner Additions, Bilt Rewards is Now the Most Valuable Transferable Loyalty Program
2 minute read
Just last week, Bilt Rewardsannounced the exciting additions of United MileagePlus and Cathay Pacific Asia Miles as their two newest transfer partners. While transfers to United MileagePlus are now live, transfers to Cathay Pacific Asia Miles will be live in mid-April.
This is a huge shake-up in the best way possible when it comes to the rewards game, of which Bilt has always been floating around as a top contender but even more so now with its newest transfer partners. As per Card Curator’s proprietary algorithm’s valuation, we can officially say that Bilt Rewards is the most valuable transferable loyalty program! With the additions of United and Cathay Pacific as transfer partners, Bilt points are now valued at 1.91 cents per point transfer. For comparison’s sake, Chase Ultimate Rewards points are worth 1.89 cents per point with its airline and hotel transfer partners.
In addition to United and Cathay Pacific, Bilt Rewards transfer at a rate of 1:1 to the following programs:
American Airlines AAdvantage
World of Hyatt
Air Canada’s Aeroplan
Air France / KLM Flying Blue
Turkish Miles & Smiles
Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
Moreover, Bilt’s model is centered around the primary goal of helping you earn points by simply paying your monthly rent with the Bilt Mastercard (which has no annual fee), or by signing up for the loyalty program through its website. It’s also worth noting that if you choose to participate in Bilt’s loyalty program without using their credit card, your landlord must be a member of the Bilt Rewards Alliance in order to earn points on your rent payments.
Is there a downside in using Bilt to pay your rent? Well, rent payments are capped at $50,000 per year, and you’ll also only earn 1 point per dollar on rent. However, with the additions of United MileagePlus and Cathay Pacific Asia Miles as transfer partners– this is a huge leap forward for Bilt Rewards members in getting the most value out of their points.
